World of Warcraft - Observation 2
World of Warcraft: The Patch Aftermath. Some very interesting changes occurred with this latest patch. Winterspring, Moonglade, Western and Eastern Plaguelands have opened for business. All high-end content, so I would become fine red mist of blood and sinew if I wandered too far in there.
A lot of classes also changed, with Shamans and Druids getting talents this push. I expect to see Warlocks and Paladins get some love next time around. Also, another phase of beta has opened up so be on the look out for emails inviting you to Closed Beta #2!
2 hand weapons really got a push this patch with increases in damage, but it almost looks like they shaved some damage off 1 hand weapons and gave it to the 2 handers. A lot of the armor problems were also fixed this patch, which really helps out the likes of me who go around picking fights with things 3-4 levels higher then myself.
Mana has also changed a bit. Instead of being Intelligence based, it has turned more into spirit based. So a lot of casters are quite a bit pissed at this. I, for one, have seen this help me out a lot more then the way it was pre-patch. There is now a 5 second delay before you start regenerating mana after you cast a spell.
Servers have gone down yet again! You can get the the character select, but look! No characters! Cant even create any new ones. Hopefully it's only a crash and everything will be back up and running in short order. Let's hope they did not do the unthinkable and Character Wipe.
